Most think of the physical by whatever
object is used to make sure someone
doesn’t leave for a time or forever
They make you feel weak, powerless, its
cold, dark and dirty, no windows, no sounds

You have restraints and physically
nothing is holding you to one place,
you can move about, but the fear
they have ingrained in leaves you paralyzed
afraid of the consequences

People also restrict what they think
you are capable of achieving, having, being
they control you and you might even believe
them at times, because of self-doubt

The last 2 sometimes are the worse

At least with the physical
you know who is keeping you there
the others you don’t know who your
enemy might be at any given moment
and their weapon is more painful
then the bruises and whelps.
