~A Poet~

A poet to me looks deep within to be able
to put raw, sometimes painful emotions on the page.
Some say poetry is easier to write then
short stories or novels.
With poetry you have a small canvas
so, to speak to show your work.
You can’t turn the next page and
continue the story.
What you read is what you get.
Sometimes it takes a very long time
to get a few words written.
I’ve written poems for over 30years
and it is still hard sometimes and
I’m still learning as I go.
