I stare

I stare up at the sky and see the moon
her light and energy shining down on us.
I see the shadows of darkness around her,
stars appearing as eyes looking down
upon the earth.
Amused at what they see.
I feel the presence of another
a howl rings out in the distance and
soon a chorus of howls can be heard all around.
One of those being mine, and I
stare up at the sky on this
full moon night!!
