Picking up a pen letting the ink
flow across the page going wherever
it needed filing in the ridges, crevices
and smooth surfaces of emotions-
Spreading out to soothe the mind, body,
soul and spirit-
Picking up the gun letting the ink
flow across the skin tracing the lines,
filling and shading in the canvas
the artist is making come to life-
Picking up a pen letting the blood
flow from the vein of my heart
permanently on paper and skin-
Soothing Me- Leaving My Legacy Behind!
