Ink

Deviantart stories Lilla Kattuggla

She dips her pen in the ink
once more, it looks as if its black
but it is really blood from out
of her soul.

Not everyone will understand
the words found upon these pages.

This is what writers do we
dip our pen in the ink
of our heart and emotions.

Forever etching them on our pages!

For all you writers ❀

It Appeared

Flickr Doyle Ogden

It appeared out of the mist
The massive griffins guarding
like gate keepers.

The ravens flew through the mystical clouds
But nothing come out, it was contained
behind the wrought iron fence.

It appeared out of the mist
beckoning for me to come within.

I will

I will not look up.
I will not give them the satisfaction
of knowing how deep the knife went
into my heart.

I will sit and finish this cup and
maybe have another.

I do not look up as they stand outside
the window, staring and mocking.

I will not ask for vengeance.

When they are gone, I pull out
the knife embedded in my chest.

I then look straight up and know
you gave me the strength to be strong
against them.

I motion for another cup. I look out this window,
head held high, knowing I will, I will…

Rest Little Angel

Flickr Mz Cosita

Rest Little Angel
The demons and predators were
waging chaos full force trying to
catch us off guard by joining together tonight.

But they show us a weakness that we
will use to our advantage the next time.
You had to draw blood tonight that scars
your soul for some time or always in some cases.
I know this litterally.

Rest Little Angel
The battle will soon start again,
and I’m afraid it will be worse than before.

When Teardrops Fall

Flickr Wildwind

I am surrounded by water
thou it is not just any body of water
it is the water of tears.

Tears from all things:
happiness, sadness, loss, comfort to someone in need,
illness, stupidity, anger, frustration, confusion and laughter.

So many emotions lay claim here.

I find comfort here as I let them run over my hands
and wash over my soul.

I find strength and know some tears are necessary to find
a place of peace from anger and hatred of another.

This body of water will never go away
which is sad to say.

To all that have shed tears know
you are not alone.

For some of those tears were necessary
so, they could go HOME!

Flamed by passion

Image Jason Mroche

Beauty flamed by passion
Burning hot to the touch
Soon it will be totally consumed
until there is nothing left
The florist knows to keep stock on hand
Beauty flamed by passion
because he will never get enough
of his passionate beautiful flame.

Whispers in the hall

I hear them, whispering outside my door
Should we check on her?
No, she needs to deal with this
on her own, you heard her.

Yeah, but what if she needs something,
I hear a sigh, she knows where we are, come on.

I hear footsteps shuffling down the hall
and shut the door.
How am I to deal with this.

I curl myself into a tighter ball and try
to shut the world out, as his lyrics about
us litter my bedroom floor,
along with the emotions and feelings
no one will hear ever again.

The Hug

Flickr Incogoita1

I sit in this place
My wings are outstretched waiting
to be embraced.

I listen there is silence and so I wait.

I wrap my arms tightly around
my body, it is cold and dark now.

My wings stay outstretched for when
they wrap around me I know
the hugs will come no more.

Sting of the Needle

a hum breaks up the silence.
a touch almost like a lover runs across my pale skin.
the mind is lost in a dreamlike state.
the hum stops and music playing up front returns.
something cool slides across my skin.
i’m back to reality.
i look over my shoulder and pride shines
in the face of the man.
i’ve just been intimate with.
i get up and keeping my bare breasts covered
i look in the mirror and see his masterpiece
that covers the full length of my back
i have wings now and i will forever fly.
