We have grown distant, one human to the next is far more removed than we were 10 or 15 years ago. We have grown so accustomed to communicating via technology , very few people know how to carry an actual conversation.

Today is Christmas Eve, a day where gifts are exchanged and families get together to celebrate both religious and cultural customs. We go to the mall and spend boat loads of money on gifts for our friends and family. Yet there is something lacking, I can FedEx a box full of toys, I can wrap sweaters with bows and ribbons, but when was the last time I gave love?

I am not saying to run out to the first person you see today and bear hug them, but have we taken to time to thank those that make our everyday better? Have we stopped to ask how someone is…
