You extend

You extend the tree branch of
friendship, love and caring.

It just hangs there if nothing
is reciprocated and new
growth doesn’t blossom.

The branch will die, fall to
the ground and be hauled away.

You have some many other branches
touched growing stronger and
full of life.

Some still will look for that branch
you have always extended and
wondered where it went
just like you?

Friendship, love and caring
have to be nurtured as you would a tree.

Its okay to trim your branches of life now
and then.
If not it could bring everything crashing down
around you.
