Waves

Waves crashing against the shoreline
wearing away what was there
little by little.
Sometimes cutting wide gashes
letting the surge of power
rush in.
These waves are not made of water
but my emotions wearing against my soul.

Mistakes

we make mistakes
we stumble and fall
we get up and sometimes
we end up on the ground again
bloodier and bruised then before.

but with those mistake
comes knowledge and answers.

when we stumble, fall and
don’t get back up is
where the mistakes really begin.

Things

Things are not always
what you think they are
on the surface, everything looks happy.
But if you dig deep there are places
that have never seen the light of day.

People want to see what think is good
because they don’t want to get involved
if something is ugly and evil.

Things are not always
what you think they are on the surface
until someone bleeds or goes missing.

This Room

This room, my sanctuary
I leave the cold dark world of chaos outside.
In here I feel love, warmth and my spirit
is full of life.

Candles dance along the windows, my pad
and pen wait for me.
Hours later I put my pen down and realize
the candles have burned themselves out.
The only light is the moonlight streaming
through the windows.
I grab my shawl and wrap it around me
to help with the chill.

I pick up my pen again and turn the page.
The night and moon are my friends,
companions on this journey of mine!

Tears

I feel tears running down my face.
They are not transparent, but red.
I wipe them, but they keep coming.
I start to feel weak.
Blood is slowly running from me.
These are tears of my heart
falling like raindrops hitting the ground.
I feel tears running down
my cheek.
I wipe them away
but I’m no longer there!

As the

As the night grows dark
the creatures of the night come out and
play hide and seek, peek a boo and tag
your it, with unknowing souls who don’t
realize its more than just a game.
As the night grows dark
will you come out and
play with ME??

Shirt and Tie

Flickr courtney story

He walked out of the bathroom and looked toward the bed
frowned, and said Babe you see my shirt and tie. I lean against
the door jamb and say maybe what does it look like? He turns to
me and arch’s an eyebrow, like what you have on, I say Oh then I guess
I should take it off, you want to help. He walks toward me, but stops
at the dresser, picks up his phone and texts forever, then lays it back down.
He stands with his arms folded across his chest and is not smiling!
I think Oh Shit- I was just having some fun and now he is pissed.

I start to reach for the tie, he suddenly appears in front of me, grabs
it and tugs me toward him. You know you wear that much better
than I do and yes, I will help you. I bit my lip, didn’t you have a meeting,
he said yes, I told them something came up and he grinned. I thought
you had an appointment- I said Nope they cancelled I’m free all day.

I think to myself as he slowly undoes his tie around my neck, dress up
is so much more fun now πŸ˜‰

Cry from the Darkness

The scream pierces the silence of the night
Everyone looks from where it came from
but no one dares to go see…
It’s the darkness and unknowing that awaits
them they fear, what could take and forever
keep them in their grasp.
Cry from the darkness
The scream pierces the silence of the night
It’s a cry of the lonely forever
lost in the darkness of the night.

Thoughts and moods

What is it

What is it you want from me?

My blood is on your hands.

Will you not be satisfied until I’m
shredded to pieces by your claws.

You call yourself a man,
you are nothing but a coward.

What is it you want from me?

You will not hear my screams!

I will look you straight in the eyes.

You will not take my power before I die
which will mean it will go with me instead.
